Das neue Tanklöschfahrzeug wurde im Juli 2000 seiner Bestimmung übergeben. Der Austausch wurde notwendig, da das alte Fahrzeug (Baujahr 1975) den sicherheitstechnischen Anforderungen für den Feuerwehrdienst nicht mehr entsprochen hat. Das Fahrzeug entspricht den heutigen Erkenntnissen der Feuerlöschtechnik und ist darüber hinaus mit Geräten ausgerüstet, die für unseren Bereich von wichtiger Bedeutung sind.
